This standard deck girder bridge crosses Pilot Creek west of 330th Avenue, near Rolfe.
Built in 1924, the bridge features two standard deck girder spans, with a concrete deck. These spans are set onto concrete substructures.
Commonly used to cross larger streams, this bridge likely replaced a simple wooden trestle. Unlike most other bridges along this route, this structure was not built in 1902.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in good to fair condition. Unfortunately, the concrete deck has begun to weather.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
